Fluffy Love Fights

Doesn't it amaze you that two cats could be sitting nice and sweetly together and then one just randomly attacks the other?  I find that to be so strange.  Or they just run and pounce on the other one.  I guess they find that fun cause they do it a lot.  

One of my favorite things about my cat Pixie is her love of toys.  She carries them around and meows like she caught a big mouse and wants praise.  When I come hoe from work there is always a toy in front of my pillow.  Her big catch of the day.  I always tell her she's a good girl.

Nothing is nicer than spending quality time with your kitties sleeping in bed while you watch TV.  Here are my babies...Mysty is the top one and Pixie is the tortie.  Kisses to my babies.

Cats Get into Everything

Does your cat have to explore everything new, moved or even the same thing?  You move the laundry basket and bam it's now something new to be explored.  You clean your apartment and find all the toys they stashed around...now they are all new toys.  I guess it doesn't take much to amuse them.  One of my cats favorite thing is the crunchy seal they put around butter or cottage cheese.   She will crunch on that thing till it is completely crunched out.

Why do we buy them toys when everyday things excite them so?

Cats and Work

Have you ever tried to work from home and have all your stuff laid out on the bed or table?  Well this to a cat means cuddle with mommy time.  They climb on your work, step on your keyboard or iPad or the bed just lay down right smack in the middle.

They ignore you for hours until you take out that work and try to function and then you are their best friend.  I promise you my cat does not know how to use a laptop or an iPad but she'll give it her best.  How many programs have you had to start over or typing you've had to erase because of your favorite fluffy helper?

I love my cats but not when they try to help do my work because it doubles my work load.  I know you all have a cat like this.

Cats Love You

Does your cat love you?  Both of mine definitely do.  When they want something they become your best friend.  Whether it be food, water or attention they have a special way of letting you know.

Ever wake up to a hairy fave in your face, and I don't mean a husband?  My cats insist that the alarm clock is time to get up.  I have no snooze button because my cats become the wake up call.  Not that I don't love them and all but I prefer the real snooze button to a fuzzy wuzzy wake up call.

Pixie does the wake up thing everyday even if the alarm doesn't go off.  Mysty only does it on occasion.  Mysty is better because she just sits in you face and stares at you.  Pixie will lick your face to wake you up.  Sandpaper on your eyelids in a fast wake up call.  Quite the painful experience.

I love them both though but wish they had no internal alarm clocks especially when I don't have to go to work.

I Love Cats

I want to write about cats.  I'm sure there are many blogs about cats but I don't care I still want to make one.

I like cats because they don't require a lot of attention.  They love you unconditionally.  They love to cuddle and to be pet.

I love the sound of them purring loudly when they are happy.  That sound makes me happier than any other sound in the world.

Cats take cute pictures and when people pose them and take pictures they make me smile.

I have had numerous cats in my lifetime my first cat was Ghost she passed away in 1996.  I was super sad but I had another cat at the same time named Ernie Studmuffin who passed away a little while ago.  A month after I lost Ernie I lost the other cat I had named Peanut.  I had another cat with those two named Pixie.  She is now 10 and I adopted her a sister 4 years ago named Mysty.  I currently have Pixie and Mysty and they make me very happy.

I will talk about them on a regular basis as well as the other cats I've had.
